Question: Two weeks late

My husband and I have been ttc for two years. We are both in out late 30s this being my first, he has kids from a previous marriage. I'm now two weeks past my period time. Done lots of test but all negative. Saw my doctor she did a physical and said it looked like my period was about to start in a few days. The was almost a week ago and still nothing. I plan on taking another test on Sunday. But I don't "feel" pregnant or have any symptoms. I did have some white discharge but the doctor said it may be an infection. I want to be so bad but I don't want to get my hopes up. Any advice?
