Question: Good idea or not so much to test early?

Hi everyone! Me and DH are TTC our first since last November and the TWW is just unbearable. Each of these cycles so far I'm completely convinced I got pregnant, but lots of BFNs...

I've been testing early, and this last cycle I started to test at 10DPO and every day after that and then AF showed up so needless to say it was really disappointing and now I'm beginning to think maybe it's better to just wait it out until at least when my period should be starting.
